'There is much that is life-like and spontaneous in the women bathing the Child, in the sad-looking Joseph and the young shepherd blowing the horn. The figuress are scattered over the surface of the icon. The half-lenght figures of saints are not in proportion with figures of the main section. The dark colour of the mountain apparently signifies the darkness of night. The icon deviates from the iconographic canosn, the angels singing glory having been added by the painter. nektek mit hozott a Mikulás?

nekem üdvözlő napocskát, huncut apukát, szerető anyukát, nagy szívet, a hallgatagot, elbújt tekintetet, a földanyát, leszállni vágyó égi csillagot, búcsúzó kaleidoszkópot, elbúcsúzott búgócsigát.

nagy segítség volt, vagyis kegyelmi pillanat volt, hogy végigjárhattam a bolygóimat, és visszatérhettem az ikonocskámhoz.

jó itt, bár ez még egy törékeny dolog. kitettem Nektek egy csomó Szent Miklóst.

ha megnyíltok az ikonoknak, ők is megnyílnak nektek.

for me: I able to continue this blog again.

I like this blog, but it is still a very fragile thing... I posted a several Saint Nicholas icons.

ezt az ikontípust úgy hívják, hogy Kardiotissa.

az első megrendelés. Mesterem éppen jött. 

ha nem jött volna éppen, nem tudtam volna befejezni. 

vagy nem így.

this type of icon is called Kardiotissa. Καρδιωτισσα

this was the first job, painted it for a family.  my teacher happened to came. 

if he had not came, I couldn't finish it...

Egyiptomi Szent Mária. A Férjemé. Még nem feliratoztam. Illés próféta. Egy Dávid nevű fiúnak festettem. De eltűnt. Így most Illés bácsié lesz.

Saint Mary of Egypt. I painted for my husband. I haven't written the name of the Saint yet... Prophet Elijah. I painted it for a young man call David, but he dissapeared, so I will give it to Uncle Elijah. 

Szent Miklós. Valójában a jobb oldalit festettem először, és abbéli bánatomban, hogy az sehogyse sikerült, festettem a bal oldalit. Aztán mikor a mester itt volt, átfestette velem a jobb oldalit, így most az tetszik jobban. 

Ezektől soha nem akarok megválni. Olyan nagy mérföldkövek.

Mária a kislányomé, Szent Antal a kisfiamé lett. 

Nem is tudok mit írni... csoda volt...

majd egyszer írok arról a tanfolyamról...

Inkább festek.

De tudjátok, a tanítvány mester nélkül olyan, mint a tehén kolomp nélkül.

hm. nem akarok információs blog lenni. személyes blog se akarok lenni. az ikonok "személyesek" -valahogy az ikonok "személyességét", a személy közeliségét akarom megmutatni. az biztos, hogy ennél vannak sokkal jobb megfogalmazások. na mindegy. most megyek tovább, majd menet közben kialakul. ha nem csináljuk, nem alakul ki. 

er... I don't want to create a blog with a lot of information. I don't want to be to personal either.  Instead, I would like to show the personal aspect of the icons. I'm sure, that there are more professional terminologies to descripe icons. I do my best, and we will see what's happen.
